We're.... Off (in my mind)

Week 2. In other words week one but I'm actually thinking, producing a flatplan and a production schedule, which our one lucky reader - who's been unfortunate enough to find us through google search or hitting the 'next blog' button by accident - will have the pleasure of seeing in the next post. But before we get to a production schedule, what are we actually producing?

To be brief ahead of an epic presentation that will see me make literal MILLIONS:

Winning Post is a bi-monthly (for the purposes of both reviewing and previewing the biggest events around the world of racing) magazine focused purely upon the sport of horseracing, aimed at young, intelligent, creative people. The magazine covers all aspects of racing, but not purely from a punter’s view – we have a clear aim to help make sure that we look at racing as a sport rather than a means of purely making money.

There are regular previews and reviews of the biggest races, along with ante post betting advice and the best analysis of key players in the game on and off the track, catering for both flat and jumps fans. There will also be an international section to give adept coverage to events such as the US Triple Crown, French jumps and flat racing season, and also the

There will be substantial betting analysis, with an ante post advice each month, while key industry experts will provide comment on hot topics and provide an insight into the industry.

We will have a strong and bold comments section, giving space to reader submissions as well as having a letters page, and along with established columnists from the best publications commenting on hot topics, we hope to have an established panel.

Starters' Orders

Welcome, for all those who are going to be reading this, to my work journal for my Final Major Project (yes, actually as important as I think it is), which will be a horseracing magazine called the Winning Post.

What exactly will it be?

A bi-monthly, 70 page publication, printed on high grade matte paper.

Striking in design, 'the definitive companion for any self respecting young racegoer' – and about so much more than just money.

Here you learn about the people behind the horses and the horses behind the people.

With the best and most current coverage of the biggest and best horseracing events as standard, but also the same focus on the vibrancy and culture that the sport provides for all lucky enough to enjoy it, Winning Post connects with young people to put the "H in Horse Racing" and put the spark into the sport on paper.

And over the next two months, you'll see exactly how that comes to be, under the assumption that we get over everything that can possibly go wrong going wrong.
